Pashupatinath Temple

Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most sacred Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva
and is a major spiritual landmark of Nepal. Located on the banks of the holy Bagmati
River in Kathmandu, this UNESCO World Heritage Site attracts thousands of pilgrims
and visitors from around the world every year.
The temple is famous for its beautiful traditional pagoda-style architecture, golden roof,
detailed wood carvings, and deeply spiritual atmosphere. Devotees visit the temple to
offer prayers, seek blessings, and experience the peaceful religious environment.
One of the biggest highlights is the Evening Aarati Ceremony held beside the Bagmati
River. During the Aarati, priests perform synchronized rituals with oil lamps, bells, conch
shells, devotional music, and Vedic chants, creating a powerful spiritual experience. The
glowing lamps reflected on the river, combined with the sound of bhajans and chanting,
